A full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Modesto, CA. This position supports K-12 students within a structured school setting, providing both direct and indirect speech and language services under the supervision of a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The role offers a standard caseload model, ensuring focused and manageable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students following individualized education program (IEP) goals.
• Complete indirect activities such as documentation, data collection, and preparation for therapy sessions under SLP guidance.
• Collaborate with the supervising SLP to ensure adherence to therapy plans and regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with educational staff regarding student progress.
• Maintain compliance with all district policies, including fingerprinting and credential verification.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a current California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license.
• Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 populations preferred.
• Ability to work full time, 35 hours per week, during the school year.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Willingness to perform duties in both direct therapy spaces and indirect settings.
