Category Schools - SLP - CFY Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought to provide expert speech therapy services for elementary-aged students in a contract position. This role supports a pediatric caseload, combining both school-based and teletherapy environments, designed to serve young learners from kindergarten through eighth grade across two schools. Location: Pickford, MI Assignment: Contract, Core School Year (CSY) Start Date: September 2nd (flexible as needed) Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week Caseload: Approximately 49 students Age Groups Served: Kindergarten to 1st grade at one site; Kindergarten to 8th grade at the other Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and progress monitoring of speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of children. Provide direct speech therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy modalities. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals. Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of services delivered and student progress. Participate actively in school meetings and professional development opportunities. Preferred Qualifications: Valid SLP state licensure and active Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Experience providing services in pediatric healthcare or school settings. Ability to manage a diverse caseload including early elementary through middle school-aged children. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educational staff and families.
