This contract position spans the entire school year, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational experiences through tailored therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs across all grade levels (K-12). Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement therapy goals aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Conduct assessments to evaluate students' motor, sensory, and cognitive skills. Develop treatment plans and provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions within the school environment. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance with state and school regulations. Qualifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Washington. Experience working in school-based settings with K-12 populations. Strong understanding of school systems, special education laws, and therapeutic approaches tailored to children and adolescents. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize student-centered care.
