Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is sought for a contract position within a K-12 educational setting in Kirkland, WA. This opportunity spans the school year from September 3, 2025, through June 16, 2026, offering approximately 20 hours per week (.5 FTE). Responsibilities include delivering evaluation, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to students across grades K through 12. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement speech and language interventions aimed at improving communication skills and academic success. Maintaining thorough documentation as per educational and clinical standards is also essential. Qualifications and experience required: Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience providing SLP services in a school environment preferred Ability to work effectively with children across the K-12 range Strong communication and collaboration skills for team-based problem-solving Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations and guidelines Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches to diverse student needs This contract position provides a structured work schedule, ideal for professionals seeking part-time engagement during the academic year.
