Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A K-12 school in Council Grove, KS is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support to students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse student population in a dynamic educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's communication needs. Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other support staff to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Maintain accurate records of services provided and prepare required documentation. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs). Required Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Valid SLP School License or certification appropriate for the educational setting. Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
