Speech-Language Pathologist in Philadelphia, PA

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Philadelphia, PA, serving a K-12 school setting for the 2025-2026 school year. The contract runs from September 2, 2025, through December 2, 2025, with the possibility of extension. This position is ideal for an SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) looking to support a diverse caseload of students. Responsibilities include: Providing speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 K-12 students Conducting evaluations and assessments to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate student records Participating in team meetings and contributing to student success strategies Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with school-aged children across K-12 grade levels Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work independently Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations Schedule and Location: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Philadelphia, PA area Contract duration: September 2, 2025, to December 2, 2025, with potential extension This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills in a rewarding school environment.
