It focuses on enabling students to actively participate in classroom activities by enhancing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate student participation alongside peers through targeted occupational therapy strategies. Adapt tasks and environments to meet individual student needs. Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as necessary. Prepare clear, detailed reports based on student assessments and observations. Develop and maintain Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives and accommodations. Collaborate and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and support needs. Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for an Illinois state license in occupational therapy. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
