School Speech Therapist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide therapy services in an elementary school setting. This contract position is ideal for an experienced clinician passionate about supporting young learners' communication and language development. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) Qualifications: Current Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification as required Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Experience working with elementary school children preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage caseload effectively in a fast-paced school environment Location: Norwich, Connecticut
