A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in Washington, DC, serving a PreK through 8th-grade student population in a dynamic K-12 school setting. Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, with School SLP experience preferred
- Valid DC Speech Therapy License
- DC Educator Certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for PreK-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state regulations
- Provide guidance and training to school staff regarding communication strategies
