What the Role Entails

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and design individualized therapy programs to assist them in reaching their functional milestones.

• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work in tandem with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic patient care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate patients and their caregivers on therapy strategies to encourage continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring continuous advancement towards their goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• Continuing education or further certifications welcomed and encouraged.

Required Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT certification required.
