A contracted Occupational Therapist position is available to support a K-12 school environment in Sanford, FL for the upcoming school year. This role focuses on providing therapy services to students, enhancing their functional skills and supporting their educational goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to meet student needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and education staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom
- Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Ensuring compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements
