As a Travel SLP, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a rehab setting. You will create individualized care plans, provide patient and family education, and document progress in compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards.

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.

• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress.

• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions.

• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and team members.

• Document treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries per regulatory standards.

• Participate in required patient care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and trainings.

• Supervise and support CFY or student SLPs as needed.

• Ensure compliance with ASHA, state practice acts, and professional ethics.

• Active ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) - Required

• Missouri State License - Required

• 1+ year of SLP experience - Required

• LTC or SNF experience - Required

• 3+ years of CCS experience - Preferred
