Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A school-based occupational therapy opportunity is available to provide support to K-12 students in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position extends through the current school year with a potential start as soon as possible and continuing until May 2026. Location: Douglasville, GA Position Details: Service delivery for students across all K-12 grade levels Commitment of 4 or 5 days per week, allowing flexibility to meet both student needs and clinical objectives Collaboration with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience working within school settings with K-12 populations Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy interventions and school-based therapy models Ability to assess and address educationally relevant goals to support student success Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for occupational therapy services Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Document progress and maintain compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Participate in team meetings and provide consultation to teachers and staff as needed This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in a student's academic and daily functioning by providing direct therapy services in a supportive school setting.
