Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Ithaca NY Grades: K-12 (Primarily elementary, with some high school students) Start Date: September 2025 - June 2026 Schedule Options: Enjoy working in a picturesque Upstate New York community! Role Overview: You'll serve a caseload of approximately 28 students, mostly elementary, with high school students nearby. This role involves assessment, therapy, and collaboration with educators and families to support student success. Your Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized therapy plans

Deliver direct speech and language therapy tailored to each student's needs

Work closely with teachers and school staff to ensure proper accommodations and modifications

Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly

Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting student goals

Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers

Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one

Experience with school-aged children preferred

Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset

Familiarity with IEP processes and educational laws

Compensation for this position ranges from $48 to $58 per hour . Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
