• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients individual needs and design tailored therapy strategies aimed at reaching their specific functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients motor function, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about therapy methods to ensure continued progress at home
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary to ensure patients are on the right path

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continuing education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
