This role primarily supports elementary students, with some high school cases included, focusing on delivering tailored speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 28 students. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans Provide direct therapy addressing each student's unique needs Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement accommodations and modifications Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as necessary Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and planning Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state licensure as an SLP or eligibility for licensure Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with IEP processes and educational regulations Location: Hyattsville, MD
