A full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at a K-12 school located in Detroit, MI. This contract role offers a valuable opportunity to support students communication development throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for successful collaboration with students, educators, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy for students across K-12 grade levels
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of student progress and deliver regular reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
