Located in Binghamton, NY, this contract role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech-language pathology services within a K-12 school setting during the 2025-2026 school year. The position begins September 4, 2025, and concludes June 16, 2026, with a commitment of 32.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve a caseload ranging from mild to severe disabilities, including students with autism, cognitive delays, emotional disturbances, and Down Syndrome.
- Deliver tailored speech and language therapy services to K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Utilize teletherapy methods as appropriate to meet diverse student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Active TSSLD certification.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in both healthcare and school-based environments.
- Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery.
- Ability to manage a caseload that includes a variety of complex communication disorders.
