A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting, serving students in grades K-5. This contract position runs from late August through mid-December and is ideal for a dedicated professional ready to support a caseload of approximately 50 students. The school offers a collaborative environment with another full-time SLP on staff and features specialized programs including autism support and Spanish immersion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students with diverse needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Deliver services in various settings, including federal settings 1-3.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Experience working as an SLP in a school environment.
- Familiarity with elementary-aged children (Grades K-5).
- Ability to work effectively within a team approach.
- Knowledge of autism programming and experience or interest in supporting Spanish immersion students is a plus.
