A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Birmingham, AL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language assessments to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district protocols and state regulations
- Provide consultative services as needed to support student communication goals
Qualifications:
- Completion or near completion of a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Currently enrolled in or eligible for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid license or eligibility to practice as an SLP in Alabama
- Experience or coursework related to K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage effectively with children and school staff
