SLP CFY - Batavia, IL

A Contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a K-12 school setting located in Batavia, Illinois. This position is ideal for newly graduated SLPs seeking to complete their CFY while gaining valuable experience in educational environments.

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Eligibility to begin or currently engaged in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Relevant state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Illinois
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for working with K-12 students
• Ability to administer assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement speech and language therapy in a classroom setting

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conducting evaluations and screenings to identify communication needs
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Maintaining accurate documentation and records according to school policies and ethical standards
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development
