A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support students in a K-12 school setting in Mason, Ohio. This contract role spans the 2025-2026 school year, from August 19, 2025, through June 12, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek. The role focuses on delivering therapeutic services to students with a range of mild to severe disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to the individual needs of students across grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school district guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Support students in achieving functional goals that enhance their participation in educational activities
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Ohio is required
- Experience working with school-aged children spanning K-12
- Ability to manage a caseload that includes students with a mixture of disabilities ranging from mild to severe
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet varied student needs
- Prior experience in a school-based occupational therapy role preferred
