Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Toano, Virginia

A school district in Toano, VA is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year to support K-5th grade students. This contract position offers 20-30 hours per week at one location within a K-12 educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer speech and language assessments to students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
• Provide direct therapy services to K-5th grade students
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in compliance with educational regulations

Qualifications:

• Virginia SLP License required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology from ASHA
• Experience in pediatric SLP, ideally within a school or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
