We are a diverse, inclusive learning community committed to equity, cultural responsiveness, and supporting every students potential.Position Overview:We are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Student Support Services team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and support students with speech, language, and communication needs across both languages of instruction (if possible). This is a unique opportunity to work in a bilingual setting where language development is central to our mission.Key Responsibilities:Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students speech and language abilitiesDevelop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plansCollaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support students communication goalsParticipate in IEP meetings and provide input on language-related servicesMaintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelinesProvide consultation and training to staff on language development and communication strategiesQualifications:Masters degree in Speech-Language PathologyValid RI license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) strongly preferredExperience in K8 educational settings, preferably in multilingual communitiesKnowledge of language acquisition and culturally responsive practicesStrong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skillsWhy Join Us:Mission-driven, bilingual educational environmentCollaborative team focused on student growth and inclusionOpportunities for professional learning and developmentSmall school setting with meaningful student relationships
