A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, and school settings is sought for a contract position during the 2025-2026 school year. This role offers the opportunity to serve K-12 students within a supportive educational environment in Bourbonnais, IL. The position is full-time, ranging between 32.5 to 37.5 hours per week, providing a balanced caseload tailored to the SLPs preferences regarding age groups and the number of schools served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust therapy goals to support student communication needs.
- Provide onsite therapy services with potential for integrating teletherapy practices.
- Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with SLP Endorsement for Illinois.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language therapy and familiarity with school-based therapy requirements.
- Strong skills in delivering both in-person and teletherapy treatments.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
