Occupational Therapist School Setting in Clearwater, FL

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time occupational therapy position is available serving K-12 students in a school setting located in Riverview, FL. This contract runs from August 4th through May 29th and includes travel between multiple school sites in the area. The role offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential therapy services that support student success and development. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students across multiple schools. Manage a caseload averaging 40-50 hours of therapy per month. Coordinate schedules to accommodate therapy sessions and related workload responsibilities. Travel between assigned schools, primarily Dawson Elementary and Riverview Elementary. Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans. Qualifications and Experience: Current Florida Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing. Experience providing occupational therapy services in a K-12 educational environment preferred. Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and work independently. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families. Flexibility to travel between multiple sites during the workweek.
