A School in Rochester is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join their growing team. About the Opportunity: Start Date: ASAP Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire) Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 8a-4p Patient Population: Ages 5-22, IDD Responsibilities: The SLP will: Evaluating communication skills to include: receptive language, expressive language, articulation, voice, fluency, oral-motor skills and hearing. Developing a comprehensive service plan according to program policies and regulations, including school, outpatient, etc. Providing therapy as outlined by treatment plan of communication disorders of Individual Treatment Plan/Individual Education Plan. Maintaining professional standards in and out of the Center in compliance with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Code of Ethics. Instructing and counseling students/clients and/or their families regarding the specific nature of their communications impairments and how to best deal with this in various speaking situations. Qualifications: Master's degree or its equivalent in the field of Speech Pathology Hold Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech/Hearing Association Current state Speech/Language Pathologist license Three+ years of experience working with children as a speech/language pathologist.
