Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient rehab assignment requiring at least one year of experience and an active state PT license.

• Position is located in an inpatient rehab unit with exposure to acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facility settings
• Work schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:30am to 5:30pm
• Requires weekend coverage every fifth weekend (Saturday/Sunday rotation)
• Patients include individuals with orthopedic and neurological conditions, such as post-op joint replacements, spinal surgeries, cognitive disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases
• May float to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Duties include assessment and treatment of patients with a wide range of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses
• Must be willing to float to affiliate hospitals if requested
• Return staff must have at least one year separation before returning on assignment
• No time off requests allowed within the first two weeks of the contract, with a maximum of seven days requested off throughout the assignment
• Candidates cannot reside within 50 miles of any Legacy facility
• Pre-start modules, skills testing, and compliance requirements must be completed prior to start
• One charge, supervisor, or manager reference is required for consideration
• Scrub or dress code requirements not specified

• Active state PT license (Oregon or proof of application/fingerprints required); license required if applicable
• At least one year of recent physical therapy experience in relevant settings
• Previous travel assignment experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience with body mechanics assessment and rehabilitation of both orthopedic and neuro patients
• COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions
