Position Highlights

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics, utilizing both standardized assessments and keen observational skills.
• Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific short and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals of each patient.
• Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions that enhance communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members, to foster cohesive care strategies.
• Facilitate educational support for patients and their families, empowering continued progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure a seamless trajectory of care throughout each patients journey.
• Uphold accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required for those not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Mandatory: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
