Duties
Help
Provides oversight of activities and provides necessary services to authorized prons, including general informion and support of Specialty Retail programs. Provides informion concerning facilities and operion. Ensures adherence to regulions and safety procedures. Monitors and checks the security of premises and cleanliness of the facility.
May assist in maintaining routine reports and/or perform clerical, custodial and/or general maintenance duties as needed. May opere a cash register, Point of Sale (POS) system, processes product or service transactions including equipment loan, rentals, resale and program registrion, receive payments and make change, assist with on-line retail sales.
Provides customer service and greets prons in person and by answering the telephone; takes message and handles customer requests or referrals to the approprie staff member. All of the abovementioned tasks rele to the Specialty Retail program delivery, e.g., inventory control, equipment inspection, restocking, point of sale system operion, and cash handling.
Adheres to NAVMED P-5010 sanition requirements. Provides support for Specialty Retail program/event set up and break down.
Performs other reled duties as assigned.

Qualificions
Must be able to learn MWR policies rules and regulions, involving the Specialty Retail program. Must have ability to communice orally and in writing. Obtain Emergency First Responder or CPR certificion, Food Handlers and CARE training, where applicable within the first 90 days of employment.
Basic reading comprehension in order to adhere to published rules, regulions, standard opering procedures, checklists, and other guides.
Basic custodial tasks, e.g. sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, dusting, etc.
Basic computer operions and keyboarding skills to include operion of point of sale systems as well as desktop computers.
Basic arithmetic calculions, i.e. addition, subtraction, multiplicion, and division.
Basic customer services delivery methods to identify customer needs, delivery expected service, and/or resolve routine customer issues.
Basic understanding of elements of the Morale, Welfare and Recreion department to answer customer questions and/or refer them to the approprie activity.
