Job Functions- Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and create individualized therapy strategies to support their journey towards achieving functional objectives.
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients physical abilities, mental acuity, and daily living skills.
- Collaboration Across Disciplines: Partner with an interdisciplinary team including OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
- Educate Patients and Family Members: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that promote ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Monitor Patient Progress: Keep detailed records of clinical metrics and modify therapy plans to ensure patients are meeting their goals.
- Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications highly encouraged and fostered
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT certification necessary
