  • Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients immediate goals and long-term needs in communication, cognition, or swallowing.
  • Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions focused on enhancing communication skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
  • Engage collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to ensure holistic care strategies.
  • Educate patients and families to promote progress beyond therapy sessions, fostering a supportive care environment.
  • Administer occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout their recovery journey.
  • Document patient progress meticulously to meet the established compliance standards set by state and federal regulations.
  • Commit to ongoing professional growth through educational resources and collaboration with fellow clinicians.

Education & Credentials

  • A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year if you are yet to attain ASHA certification.

Required Certifications

  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within the initial 30 days of employment.
