A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a K-12 school setting located in Spartanburg, SC. This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop clinical skills working with a diverse student population while supporting their communication and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and track student progress to adjust therapy goals and interventions accordingly
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and regulations
- Participate in professional development and ongoing clinical training opportunities
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligibility for CCC-SLP credential through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Successfully completed or currently completing the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for working with children, parents, and school teams
- Ability to adapt services to meet individual student needs in a school environment
