Travel Speech Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

American Traveler seeks a Speech Language Pathologist with SC licensure, ASHA certification or active CFY, and BLS for a mixed inpatient and outpatient hospital assignment.

• Hospital-based position within the Speech Therapy unit
• Covers inpatient, outpatient adult, and outpatient pediatric populations
• Evaluates and treats a wide range of speech, language, cognitive, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Work week negotiable: either Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Develops individualized plans of care with measurable short- and long-term goals based on patient needs
• Supervises specific treatment teams and assists with caseload scheduling
• Completes and maintains patient documentation per hospital policy
• Contributes to department performance through professional development, mentorship, and program leadership
• Expected to uphold the ASHA Code of Ethics and SC State LLR guidelines, as well as hospital policies and procedures
• Communicates and collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team regarding patient care
• Responsible for ensuring a safe and orderly work environment

• Current and applicable Speech Language Pathology license through SC LLR (license required if applicable)
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or active participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR/AED) certification from AHA
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
