  • Provide education to patients and families to ensure consistent progress beyond therapy sessions.
  • Support inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as needed to facilitate seamless patient care throughout their healing journey.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely patient documentation in compliance with regional, federal, and facility regulations.

Qualifications

  • A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if ASHA certification has not been obtained.

Certifications Required

  • Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary within the first month of employment.
