  • Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication skills, language fluency, vocal quality, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and family members, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Actively engage in patient and family education, empowering them to support progress in daily routines.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring consistent and quality care throughout the healing journey.
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
  • Keep abreast of advancements in the field through ongoing professional development and collaborative efforts with peers.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Required Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
