Job Responsibilities

• Create Individualized Therapy Plans: Assess patients unique needs and design personalized therapeutic strategies aimed at achieving their functional objectives.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ proven techniques to enhance patients motor skills, cognitive capabilities, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide integrated, comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Family Members: Guide patients and their families in therapy methods to help sustain progress beyond the therapy environment.
• Monitor Progress and Adapt Treatment: Track clinical progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary, ensuring each patient stays on the path toward their goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
