This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized communication services to students across diverse grade levels while contributing to innovative service delivery models in special education. Assignment Details Full-time position averaging 35.5 hours per week with a mixed caseload of 48 students spanning grades K-12. This unique opportunity allows you to work with students across all developmental levels, from early childhood communication foundations through transition-aged youth preparing for post-secondary goals and independent living skills. Professional Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy through secure virtual platforms

Complete initial evaluations and annual re-assessments using telehealth protocols

Develop individualized treatment plans addressing diverse communication disorders

Implement evidence-based interventions adapted for virtual service delivery

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, psychologists, and support staff

Provide family education and training to support home practice and generalization

Maintain detailed documentation and progress data for compliance and reporting purposes

Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from regionally accredited institution

Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)

Active Speech-Language Pathology license in New Mexico

Two years minimum experience providing therapy services in school environments

Bilingual Spanish-English skills preferred given student population needs

Proficiency with telehealth technology and virtual assessment tools

Professional workspace with high-quality audio/video equipment

Clinical Specializations Address a broad range of communication disorders including articulation and phonological processes, receptive and expressive language disorders, pragmatic communication deficits, and fluency disorders. Support students with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and those requiring augmentative and alternative communication systems.
