Job Responsibilities

- Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions concentrating on fluency, voice, language, and swallowing capabilities.
- Work in tandem with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, medical personnel, caregivers, and family members to devise integrated care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families to encourage progress during and beyond clinical hours.
- Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the healing process.
- Maintain meticulous and punctual documentation in line with state, federal, and organizational mandates.
- Engage in ongoing learning and collaboration with peers to remain at the forefront of speech-language pathology developments.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not ASHA-certified yet.
Certifications
- Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.
