Occupational Therapist III, Waltham Boston Children's Hospital

Department Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time experienced occupational therapist at our Waltham location (free parking!) Waltham offers 97 pediatric specialties and services with the same pediatric specialists who practice at Boston Children's main campus

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing occupational therapy services to patients with physical dysfunction in accordance with established departmental and professional practice guidelines, standards and protocols.
• Performing evaluations, assigning occupational therapy diagnoses
• Developing and implementing patient treatment programs and goals
• Preparing discharge plans and home treatment programs
• Instructing and educating patients/families
• Arranging follow-up services as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of licensed OT experience required
• Previous Pediatric OT experience highly preferred

Licensure/Certifications:

• Occupational Therapist license in the state of MA
