Works Hours

A minimum of 2 evenings shifts 1pm - 6pm and 1 pm - 8 pm. Fridays from 9 am 3pm or Sundays 9-5 pm open to flexibility.

Position Overview

  • Provide Evaluation, Diagnosis, Treatment Planning, and Counseling: Offer comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients with behavioral health and/or emotional disorders.
  • Integrated Health Center Coordination: Collaborate with other providers in primary care to ensure coordinated and integrated care.
  • Evidence-Based Treatment: Deliver evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policies and procedures regarding medical records, ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention in situations requiring immediate treatment or care.
  • Professional Development: Participate in clinician meetings, workshops, and in-service meetings to enhance professional development and stay updated on methodologies and techniques.
  • Collaboration with Community Agencies: Work with healthcare professionals and other community-based agencies to coordinate patient care.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Director of Behavioral Health Services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Yiddish language proficiency preferred
  • Master's degree in social work
  • Current license as a Certified Social Worker in New York State (LCSW) or status as a licensed Master Social Worker with 3 years of post-Master's professional social work experience or status as a licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity or knowledge with many facets of the Jewish community

Pay & Benefits

LMSW $50 commensurate with experience and LCSW $85 commensurate with experience plus an added $10 per hour for Yiddish language fluency
