Provide speech-language therapy services for K-12 students in a specialized school setting within the Baltimore, MD area. This year-round contract position offers a full-time, 40-hour workweek supporting one school with an open opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services consistent with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Utilize clinical expertise in pediatric and school-based speech therapy, including teletherapy options as needed
- Maintain documentation and progress notes in the district's IEP system (training provided)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student-centered care and goal attainment
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to caseload/workload management
- Comply with district requirements including fingerprinting and credential verification
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Eligible or licensed to practice in Maryland
- Experience in pediatric healthcare settings and school environments preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and protocols
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent supervised experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
