An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide essential support to PreK through 8th-grade students with mild to moderate disabilities. This contract position is set for the 2025/2026 school year, offering a part-time schedule of 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:45 PM in a K-12 school setting located in Naperville, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Illinois SLP or SLPA license.
- For Speech-Language Pathologists: Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools through ISBE.
- Experience working with PreK-8 students, preferably with mild to moderate disabilities.
