Role Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Programs: Assess each patients individual needs and design personalized therapeutic plans to support them in reaching their functional goals
• Implement Evidence-Based Therapies: Engage in interventions that enhance patients physical abilities, cognitive functions, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in understanding therapy techniques that facilitate ongoing progress outside of clinical settings
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure successful patient journeys

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Willingness to engage in continuing education and acquire post-grad certifications

Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification required to practice
