Key Responsibilities

  • Educate patients and their families to empower their progress between clinic visits and integrate strategies into their daily routines.
  • Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions to ensure unified, continuous care throughout the treatment process.
  • Maintain organized and punctual documentation in accordance with the latest state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Commit to staying abreast of advancements in the speech and language field through ongoing education and peer mentorship.

Education Requirements

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), should ASHA certification not yet be attained.

Necessary Certifications

  • Possession of state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is to be obtained within 30 days of hiring.
