Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-semester contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support K-12 students in Lanham, Maryland. This role focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services within a school setting, contributing to students' communication development and academic success. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation of services and student performance Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert guidance on communication strategies Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working with K-12 populations preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable regulations Location: Lanham, Maryland This contract opportunity spans a full academic semester and is perfect for an SLP who is passionate about supporting school-age children in a dynamic educational environment.
