Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the upcoming school year, providing services within a K-12 educational setting. This contract role is located in Hartford, CT, and involves working primarily with a high school caseload. The position requires a dedication of 37.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Provide evaluation, assessment, and therapy services to approximately 35 students, including 19 individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and multiple disabilities. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet students' communication needs. Collaborate with paraeducators assigned for support to ensure effective intervention strategies. Document progress and maintain compliance with educational and therapeutic standards. Offer teletherapy services when applicable, in addition to in-person support. Qualifications: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Experience in school-based speech therapy, preferably with K-12 students. Proficient in delivering teletherapy services. Ability to work with diverse student populations, including those with ASD and multiple disabilities. Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload effectively.
