This role involves working full-time with a caseload of approximately 40-50 students throughout the academic school year. Key details: Location: Hermiston, OR Population served: K-12 students Contract duration: August 11, 2025 - June 5, 2026 Hours per week: 40 Caseload size: 40-50 students Hourly pay range: $45-$60 Responsibilities: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students identified with various disabilities and developmental delays Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and submit reports according to established guidelines Participate in team meetings and assist in creating supportive learning environments that enhance student participation and independence Provide recommendations for adaptive equipment and environmental modifications as necessary Desired qualifications and experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license and certification appropriate for school practice Experience working with children across the K-12 age range in educational settings Strong knowledge of school-based therapy regulations and IEP processes Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a caseload of 40-50 students effectively This position offers the opportunity to impact student success in a vital educational role.
