Cert OT Assistant

The Certified OT Assistant demonstrates a sound knowledge of the principles and applications of occupational therapy procedures and modalities. Works under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. Duties/Responsibilities: Collaborates with the Occupational Therapist to create a treatment plan and assist in patient care. Collaborates to identify patient issues and create appropriate programs to meet the patient's needs and capabilities. Performs occupational therapy procedures as directed by the occupational therapist and per physician orders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation timely. Education: Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required. Experience: One year of clinical experience is preferred. Licensure/Certification: Kentucky Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license required.
