Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract New York | 2025-2026 School Year Position Overview A New York school district is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to provide comprehensive therapy services for students in both K-12 school settings and home environments. This role plays a key part in supporting students' physical development, mobility, and access to education. Responsibilities Deliver physical therapy services in school and home-based environments Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans Support students with gross motor skills, mobility, and physical access needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student goals Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Qualifications Active New York Physical Therapy License School-based experience preferred, but not required Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work effectively across multiple environments (school and home) Position Details Schedule: Full-time Caseload: K-12 students (with home-based visits as needed) Location: School and home settings within the district Contract: 2025-2026 school year Important Notice Only candidates holding an active New York PT license will be considered.
